Chelsea’s new signings that have registered in the Champions League has been confirmed, Breaking Sport News reports.
Chelsea have spent a whooping £585m since August, bringing in new players to the squad as Todd Boehly prepares for a new dispensation after the end of Roman Abramovich era.
In the just-concluded January transfer window, Todd Boehly have spent a whooping £325m in new players.
The likes of David Datro Fofana, Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, and Atletico Madrid loanee and Portuguse star Joao Felix joined the club this January transfer window.
Chelsea faced a dilemma in the Champions League after bringing new players into the squad.
They had to axed a player to be able to register some of their new signings.
Now, in an official list of 10 new players that have been registered in the Champions League, Chelsea has 3 new players.
Among the newly registered players is Chelsea’s new signing from Benfica Enzo Fernandez.
Enzo Fernandez joined Chelsea in the final minutes to the close of the January transfer window.
He played for Benfica in the Champions League group stages, helping the team lead their group on goal difference ahead of second-placed PSG.
Also on the list, is Atletico Madrid’s loanee to the London club, Joao Felix.
Joao Felix played for Atletico Madrid in the Champions League before joining Chelsea, with the team crashing out in the group stage of the tournament.
The last player on the list is Mykhailo Mudryk, who joined the Blues for a record £88m from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Mudryk played for Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League before joining Chelsea. The Ukrainian club finished third in their group behind RB Leipzig and Real Madrid and will be playing in the Europa League playoffs.
Chelsea will play Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League round 16 tie.
