Leicester City has dealt a big blow to Tottenham’s top four hopes after a securing a dramatic win over the London club at Kingpower Stadium, Breaking Sport News reports.

First Half Report

It was a dramatic first half game between both sides as they settle for a rain of goals at the Kingpower Stadium.

The match took on a frantic pace after the referee set the game rolling with his whistle.

Both sides approach the game with speed, making frantic attempts to get one pass the other as the game kick off.

An attack-minded play saw both sides open up the midfield and charge forward for a goal with counter attacks.

14 minutes into the game Tottenham struck first, taking the lead and hoping to build on their big win over Manchester City at the London Stadium.

Leicester mounted a drastic and dramatic response after conceding first, firing in an equaliser in the 23rd minute courtsey of Mendy strike.

Two minutes later, James Madison followed up an assist from Iheanacho and scored to put Leicester City in front coming from behind.

Tottenham then attempted to reply with an equaliser, but Leicester held on to maintain the lead.

Just at the tip of the stoppage-time of first half, Iheanacho doubled the lead, making it 3-1 for the home side.

Leicester then headed into the break with a shock two goals advantage after the late-strike by Iheanacho.

Second Half Report

It was a subpar delivery by Tottenham throughout the second half.

Hopes of a comeback was far off after Leicester continued to put up a strong and formidable display in the second half.

The Foxes matched their visitors with possession, completed passes, attempts and attacking threats.

Despite taking the lead, Leicester still look more threatening and had more shots on target than the Spurs.

In the 81st minute, Barnes scored to make it 4-1 for the home side, sinking and condemning Tottenham to a shock defeat.

The match finally ended with Leicester earning a deserved win after a great perfomance against the top-four hopefuls.
