Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has now agreed to sign a new contract, Breaking Sport News reports.
The 32-year-old’s contract was due to expire this summer, but United have the option too extend it for another year.
Despite his errors this season, No one has more Premier League clean sheets than De Gea this season.
All goals United conceded in the Europa League Quarter-final second leg tie with Sevilla came from de Gea errors.
On Sunday, he made another shocking error in the 1-0 loss to West Ham.
However, Erik ten Hag still wants to to keep the Spaniard at Old Trafford.
According to the Telegraph, De Gea has agreed to sign a new contract and it will soon announced by the club.
United did not activate the extension clause in de Gea’s existing contract, which would have kept his salary at £350,000-a-week.
He has now agreed a ‘wage cut’ in the new contract plus bonuses for matches played.

However, he is unlikely to remain United’s number one goalkeeper from next season as he’s not good with his feet.
United are currently monitoring David Raya as a potential replacement, and may also keep his fellow Spaniard as an important squad member.
After months sitting comfortable in their top four, United are now under massive pressure after losing their last two matches.
