Wolves compounded Chelsea’s Premier League struggles becoming the first team to defeat the Blues after Frank Lampard emerged as the new manager.
With the home advantage, they steered themselves to a narrow 1-0 win over the Blues with a lone goal from Matheus Nunes.
The Portugal international scored a sensational goal that separated both sides as the Molineux Stadium.
After a goal mouth scramble, Matheus Nunes rushed in from the right to fired in a left-footed volley pass Kepa to give Wolves the lead.
